CATL's partnership with Quinbrook has achieved significant progress on the Supernode battery energy storage project. Stage 2 achieved commercial operation, and Stage 3 secured financing, underscoring CATL's role as a critical supplier in large-scale energy infrastructure development.

Quinbrook's Supernode battery energy storage project, a large-scale development in Australia, has reached key stages with the support of CATL as its core energy storage system supplier. Stage 2 of the project has achieved commercial operation, and Stage 3 has secured A$469 million in debt financing, bringing the total project financing across the first three stages to approximately A$1.2 billion.
With a planned capacity exceeding 3 GWh and a total of 780MW / 3,074MWh across the initial three stages, Supernode is designed for reliable long-term operation. CATL is providing its EnerC Plus systems for Stages 1 and 2, and will supply TENER S systems for Stage 3, ensuring a consistent technology platform. The company's integrated liquid-cooling system and design optimization for high-density deployment contribute to maintaining operational efficiency over a projected 20-year lifecycle. CATL's extended support includes a Long-Term Service Agreement (LTSA) covering condition monitoring, performance tracking, fault response, and preventive maintenance.
