Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 30, 2026
1. Overview
OppHub America ("we," "us," or "our") operates opphubamerica.com and related services (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service, you agree to this policy and our Terms of Service.
2. Information we collect
We may collect:
- Account data — email address and authentication details when you sign up (handled by our auth provider)
- Content you submit — comments, community posts, watchlists, member ideas, and similar contributions
- Newsletter & contact — email if you subscribe or message us
- Usage & device data — pages viewed, approximate location from IP, browser/device type, and standard server or host logs
- Payment metadata — when paid Club billing is enabled, Stripe processes card details; we receive limited billing status and customer identifiers, not your full card number
- Cookies — session and preference cookies needed to keep you signed in and remember settings (for example state or tour dismissals)
3. How we use information
We use information to:
- Operate, secure, and improve the Service
- Personalize content (for example state-aware views)
- Send transactional messages and, if you opt in, newsletters
- Process memberships and prevent fraud or abuse
- Respond to support, correction, and legal requests
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your content to train public AI models for third parties.
4. Service providers & third parties
We share data with vendors who help us run the Service, under contracts that limit their use of your information:
- Cloudflare — hosting, edge delivery, and database
- Auth and database providers used to operate accounts
- Stripe — payments when billing is enabled
- Resend (or similar) — transactional and newsletter email
- Advertising partners (for example Google AdSense) — when ads are enabled on the Service; see Advertising below
- Market-data and AI providers we use to generate or enrich content (processed on our systems; not sold as a marketing list)
When you click affiliate or partner links, those companies may receive referral information and set their own cookies under their policies. See our Terms for affiliate disclosure.
6. Advertising & third-party ads
We may display third-party advertisements on the Service, including through Google AdSense or similar networks when enabled. These partners may use cookies, web beacons, or similar technologies to:
- Serve ads relevant to your interests or the page you view
- Measure ad performance and frequency
- Collect information such as IP address, cookie identifiers, and pages visited — under their own privacy policies
Google's use of information for advertising is described in Google's Advertising / Ads technologies policy. You can manage ad personalization via Google Ads Settings and industry opt-outs such as the Digital Advertising Alliance.
We aim to keep ads limited and non-intrusive. Enabling ads does not change our rule: we do not sell your personal information as a marketing list.
7. Retention
We keep account and content data while your account is active and as needed to operate the Service, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Server logs are retained for a limited period consistent with security and operations needs. You may request deletion as described below.
8. Your choices & rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:
- Access or correct personal information we hold about you
- Request deletion of your account or certain data
- Opt out of marketing emails (unsubscribe link or contact us)
- Ask about categories of information collected (for example under U.S. state privacy laws where applicable)
- Opt out of personalized advertising via the links in the Advertising section above
To exercise these rights, email hello@opphubamerica.com or use our Contact page. We may need to verify your request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights where the law applies.

9. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child provided us data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
10. Security & international transfers
We use industry-standard safeguards appropriate to a hosted web product. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. Our providers may process data in the United States and other countries; by using the Service you understand that information may be transferred to jurisdictions with different privacy laws.
11. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above will change when we post revisions. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised policy, except where law requires additional notice or consent.
