Eluvio announced Tuesday it has been selected to power Pasifika+, a new direct-to-consumer streaming service for New Zealand-based Pacific Cooperation Broadcasting Limited (PCBL). Scheduled to launch later this year, the service will distribute content from over 30 Pacific broadcasters and local content creators globally. PCBL operates Pasifika TV and aims to strengthen partnerships between New Zealand and Pacific Island nations.

The Pasifika+ platform will utilize Eluvio's Content Fabric, providing a unified, zero-copy platform for live and video-on-demand distribution, monetization, and AI video intelligence. This technology is designed to operate without file duplication and supersede the need for legacy media clouds and content delivery networks (CDNs). PCBL CEO Natasha Meleisea highlighted the platform's purpose in connecting diaspora audiences, preserving Pacific culture, and providing an equitable revenue stream for regional media partners.

Eluvio executives are scheduled to speak at IBC Show 2026, with events planned from September 11-14, 2026. The CEO and co-founder is slated to present on the Future Tech Zone stage on Sunday, September 13, 2026.
