LNG shipping

Flex LNG announced higher earnings and revenues for the second quarter compared to the previous period because shipping rates went up. Investors care because this shows healthy demand for moving natural gas globally.

What changed

Flex LNG released Q2 2026 financial results showing significant quarter-over-quarter growth in vessel operating revenues and net income.

Who wins / who loses

LNG shippers and energy transport providers benefit from higher day rates, while importers face higher freight costs.
