Dominion First Insurance Services, formerly KingsCover Insurance Services, has rebranded to reflect its expansion within the church and ministry insurance niche. The agency, which partners with Texas Baptists and operates under the KingsCover Underwriters program, aims for a name that aligns with its mission and growth trajectory.

The rebranding does not alter ownership, leadership, staffing, or client policies. Since its launch on November 1, 2025, the agency has facilitated over $3 million in estimated premium savings for its clients, grown its client base to more than 400 churches and ministries, and expanded its licensing to 16 states. These operations will continue under the new Dominion First name.

Effective July 24, 2026, the agency will be reachable via its new website, www.dominionfirst.com, and email domain @dominionfirst.com, though legacy email addresses will continue to forward. Dominion First Insurance Services offers a range of specialty coverages including property and general liability, crime, kidnap and ransom, EPLI, D&O, abuse and molestation coverage, employee benefits, workers' compensation, and cyber liability.

Who wins / who loses

Private specialty insurance groups and niche brokers benefit from expanding church markets, while no public companies are directly impacted by this private rebranding.

Confidence & best fit

low confidence · Long-term investor

Low confidence → prefer ETFs and “Watch,” not rushing into one stock.

Quick glossary: Watch = track, don’t buy yet · Build slowly = only if it fits your plan · Protect = reduce risk · ETF = a basket of stocks (often safer than one company)
Safer theme exposure (ETFs)

Baskets that own the theme without betting on one company.

  • $KIE A basket of many different insurance companies so you do not have to pick just one.
  • $IAK An exchange-traded fund focused entirely on the United States insurance sector.
Single stocks (higher risk)

Primary = closest to the story · Peers = same industry · Second-order = knock-on effects · Avoid = looks related but may be a trap
