U.S. Compliance announced an expanded investment in the greater Chicago area, increasing its local team of environmental, health, and safety (EHS) professionals to meet growing demand. The move aims to provide Chicago-area manufacturers with enhanced access to expertise for navigating complex regulatory requirements.

"The expansion reflects growing demand among area businesses for experienced safety and environmental compliance resources that help organizations navigate increasingly complex regulatory requirements," said Jim Ginther, chief executive officer of USC. The company stated that by expanding its local presence, it is making it easier for companies to access the expertise needed to protect employees, maintain compliance, and improve business performance.

While U.S. Compliance has served the Chicagoland market for over 30 years, the company is deepening its engagement with the region's manufacturing sector. It plans to sponsor and speak at the Chicagoland Safety, Health and Environmental Conference, scheduled for Sept. 14–16, 2026. The firm also intends to expand its team of bilingual EHS advisors, grow its environmental specialists, and enhance digital capabilities for improved accessibility to training and support.

Chris Whitehorne, regional vice president of USC, highlighted Chicago as a significant industrial and manufacturing market. He noted that U.S. Compliance can help companies bridge the gap in hiring and retaining experienced EHS professionals by offering dedicated advisors supported by a broader team of specialists in areas such as OSHA compliance, industrial hygiene, and permitting.
